Dinner for Residents
A July 9 dinner welcomed new residents to their advanced degree programs at the DCG. The residents earned prizes from the Augusta National Golf Club by sharing interesting facts about themselves.

Welcome Back Assembly
The 2018 Welcome Back Assembly, which was preceded by a luncheon hosted by the DCG Alumni Association welcoming students to campus, included the presentation of scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year. Those awards included scholarships from the Dr. Emile T. Fisher Foundation, Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society and 18 funded by individual alumni.

Ice Cream Social
Staff, residents and faculty were treated to homemade ice cream for this annual event, which was heavy on fun, fellowship and flavor.

White Coat Ceremony
The 16th annual ceremony kicked off the celebration of the DCG’s 50th anniversary, with 91 students receiving their white coats at Augusta University’s Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre.

Family Day
This annual event included a picnic lunch, a tour of the DCG building and hands-on activities in the Thomas P. Hinman Simulation Lab so parents and other loved ones could experience some of what their freshman students have been doing since arriving in July.

Fall Frolic
The Employee Engagement Committee hosted the annual Fall Frolic, featuring fresh grilled hamburgers, a chili cook-off and a costume contest.
