1. CYBER BUILDING OPENS

A grand nighttime celebration kicked off opening day for the Georgia Cyber Center’s Hull McKnight Building at the Nathan Deal Campus for Innovation located on Augusta University’s Riverfront Campus. The event included tours and a rooftop party.

2. MATCH DAY

Comic book and video game characters took over this annual event where students from the Medical College of Georgia and the AU/UGA Medical Partnership in Athens receive their residency appointments.

3. COSTA LAYMAN HEALTH FAIR

Inspired by Debbie Layman (BSN ’78), the College of Nursing hosted an interdisciplinary health fair to provide health assessments and screenings to farmworkers in rural South Carolina.

4. CHINESE NEW YEAR

Confucius Institute and the AU Arts Council presented the university’s first official Chinese New Year celebration to the Health Sciences Campus with a special Noon Arts show.

5. PRESIDENT’S COOKOUT

Food, fun and games filled the green space at Harrison Education Commons as the President’s Cookout brought together alumni and families during Alumni Weekend.

6. HARRISON BUST UNVEILED

A bust of J. Harold Harrison, M.D., was revealed during the many festivities that took place during Alumni Weekend.

7. ART HARDY GOLF

Golf-loving Jaguars hit the greens during Alumni Weekend’s Art Hardy Memorial Golf Tournament.

8. ALUMNI WEEKEND PARTIES

It’s never a dull moment when friends reunite. Alumni and their guests danced the night away during Alumni Weekend parties hosted by multiple colleges.
