     Dr. William Ragan (’85) died November 28, 2021. Ragan practiced in underserved areas in rural south Georgia, eventually settling in Hawkinsville, Ga. Read his obituary here.

     

     

     

    Dr. Gary Milton Whitford (’75), Regents Professor Emeritus of Oral Biology, died February 18, 2022. Whitford was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, a world-renowned fluoride researcher and served on the faculty at AU for 50 years, from 1972 to 2011. Read his obituary here.
