The DCG hosted its inaugural Raft Debate on Feb. 10. Three specialists and a devil’s advocate (Dean Carol A. Lefebvre) debated which dental professional should be saved from a deserted island for the sake of humanity. Drs. Alan Furness, Bruce Riggs and Brian Sellers (’15) advocated for general dentistry, pediatric dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery, respectively. The audience ultimately chose to save Sellers.
